Indo-French Cultural Centre and Museum (Institut de Chandernagore) is not only a Museum or Library or Centre for the learning of French.  It is a composite centre, one of the finest of its kind in India and France. Its library can be developed into the best equipped of its kind as a storehouse of French language and literature with a research orientation.  The programme of teaching the French language could be organized such that in the long run the standard of education may reach an international level with all the best teaching aids.
